WELLNESS | HEALING | BALANCE | HEALTH

Dr. Iankowitz takes a team approach to wellness. At the patient’s request, communication among select members of the wellness team (which may already be in place) is established. If a patient would benefit from a referral to an additional licensed, certified health professional, Dr. Iankowitz has a list of outstanding providers on her extended team (i.e. mental health, physical therapist, chiropractor, massage therapist, Reiki Master, energy healers & holistic optometrist).

Dr. Iankowitz recognizes that each individual presents with unique needs. While there are generalizations

that may be made about the body, there are no two human beings exactly alike. Treatment for presenting symptoms

are individualized, taking into account each individual's mind/body/spirit needs, preferences, balance & chemistry.

Each patient has his/her own ideas about

  • what ‘wellness’ looks like

  • preferred short and long-term goals

  • what ‘exercise’ means

  • dietary preferences

  • whether or not yoga or meditation are worth time/attention
